Trade in your flip-flops for a pair of sneakers and boots.
Leave the swimsuit to dry so that it’s dry enough for your afternoon swim.
This half-day is all about nature.
We suggest you leave in the morning, so you’ll have the whole afternoon free to enjoy the campsite swimming pool or the beach at Le Veillon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We take you to the Baie de l’Aiguillon for an unusual activity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You’re about to enter a magnificent place, so please preserve it.
It takes about 1 hour to drive there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aiguillon Bay Nature Reserve<\/strong> welcomes you all year round. On site, some 5,000 hectares will enable you to observe bird species in their natural habitat.
Our teams will explain everything you need to know about these protected species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the tides change, the Bay offers unique landscapes<\/strong>.
At low tide, it’s a very popular fishing spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you start:<\/strong> fishing in this area is highly regulated.
Foot fishing is prohibited within 25 meters of marine culture concessions (flat or raised oyster beds, bouchots, fish locks, etc.).
There is a minimum catch size for certain species<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the Baie de l’Aiguillon, you’ll also be able to spot some carrelets.
You’ve probably already seen these wooden huts with a large net, where you can fish for shrimp, sea bass or mullet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the world …<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After your fishing trip, turn back and follow the salt meadows to the Pointe d’Ar\u00e7ay.
A sublime point-shaped beach offering breathtaking panoramic views. A 360\u00b0 view, with the Bay on one side and the ocean as far as the eye can see on the other.
You’ll feel like you’re all alone in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this enriching morning, it’s time to return to the campsite.
Wash and cook your morning catch, and enjoy it on the terrace of your accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
